B. F. Skinner Explains the Proper Use of iPads in School

Have a look at this brilliant overlay of B. F. Skinner's 1950s explanation of the teaching machine onto students today using iPads in school (original Skinner video here).

Sadly, the same psychology applies to today's efforts at children doing rat learning and having their  behaviors managed.  What has changed, however, is that today's "teaching machines" have the capacity to store and share every right and wrong answer from pre-K through high school, and the lessons now contain "character" training exercises to breed repression and docility.

  1. This is brilliant. Everyone should watch this--as a warning and a prophecy--and because we all need a good laugh.
