Something is terribly wrong in the City of Brotherly Love and cities across this country that continue to spend billions on high stakes standardized tests that do absolutely nothing to educate and protect the next generation. High stakes testing is a toxic policy and like pollution, is ultimately unsustainable. The question now is how much longer will this hoax on the American public continue.
Can this be the beginning of the end this education nightmare that has been plaguing our nation's public schools and has left so many children behind and ignorant. So ignorant that people are now voting for Republicans who refuse to raise the minimum wage and at the same time pass referendums to raise the minimum wage. The stupidity never fails to amaze.

Educators, parents, students and policy experts share their perspectives on how standardized tests like PSSAs and Keystones are changing teaching and learning in Philadelphia, its suburbs, and beyond.
Bring a sign, bring a friend, and fill City Council chambers with people who believe in educating the whole child. Society shouldn’t label and sort children using an increasingly toxic standardized testing regimen. Please attend this hearing. Our children need us to speak out.
