OpenAI CEO, Sam Altman, wants to redirect all the silicon and rare earth metals that go into your home computers and tablets for use in the massive toxic environmental catastrophes we know as AI data centers.
Now Altman's geniuses have a plan to rebrand the universally-despised and life-draining AI data centers. So when you hear dystopian twits, remaining MAGAts, or purchased pols promoting "AI compute campuses," don't be fooled:
Right after Tuesday's midterms, OpenAI will unleash a policy and PR blitz to try to get in sync with the new Washington, including an effort to rebrand data centers as "AI compute campuses."
