Arne Duncan solves Greygower's problem

"Greygower" just recorded a song called the Test Teacher Anthem on http://educationrumination.com/. Here is the chorus:

"Test teacher, test teacher

Teaching to the test

Work on math and English

And forget about the rest."

Don’t worry, Greygower. Arne Duncan has solved this problem: Test all subjects.

"They want to test everything." (Diane Ravitch, after discussions with staff of the US Dept of Education)

  1. So now what? I teach ART. If a kid can't mix green from a tube of yellow and a tube of blue, I don't get a paycheck? Let's just lock the doors now and all go home. We're done!
