Make or Break for Obama: Life or Death for Other Americans

If you have listened to nothing else that has been said, Mr. Obama, about the health care situation or reform that matters, take a couple of minutes to listen and watch this clip from Bill Moyers. No one could say it more succinctly and with the leavened gravity of a man who knows what real hope looks like in action. After all, he worked for a white Southern president to craft civil rights and anti-poverty and desegregated schools legislation in a Jim Crow world still enamored by McCarthyism and eugenics. Do you think, Mr. President, that you can lead us at least to the place where the poor children you peptalked yesterday with your "no excuses" bullshit may at least have a chance to get that rotten tooth pulled or to go to the doctor when they are sick? Especially now with 65 percent of us Americans screaming for universal health care with a public option? Do you think????
