Despite the lies. . .

Opt-out in New York is thriving.

Contrary to what we were led to believe by state Education Commissioner MaryEllen Elia in the spring after the standardized achievement tests in English and Math were taken by public schools across the state, the number of those refusing to take the tests went up, not down. From 20 percent in 2015 to 22 percent this year.
