Position:  Common Core Training Cadre - Multiple Openings
Calendar Length:  Part Time, Temporary as scheduled
Salary Range:  $50 per hour
Position Begins:  Not later than December 1, 2012

Job Requirements
The CIESC seeks qualified candidates for the position of Common Core Training Cadre (multiple openings)  This position requires a teacher with a genuine passion for facilitating training for other teachers.  This person will collaborate with CIESC staff and other cadre members to create, deliver, and facilitate workshops about Common Core.  Cadre members will receive training at no cost to themselves.  The successful candidates will:
Cadre members with subject area expertise (Middle School Math, Middle School ELA, High School Math, High School English, or Secondary Science) will collaborate with CIESC staff to create, deliver, and facilitate workshops for teachers about Common Core Standards and relevant instructional strategies to support Common Core Implementation.
Cadre members will assist with the creation of customized training materials for teachers and facilitate workshops for teachers.  Cadre members will receive training to support this effort.
Cadre members can expect to deliver these services during the summer, intercession, and/or Saturdays and evenings during the school year.  CIESC expects to maintain these services for 3 to 5 years.

Job Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in education, with Indiana Teaching License
Strong computer knowledge, specifically Microsoft Office applications, Internet savvy, Web 2.0 tools
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong understanding of subject area content
