I wish there was a Karen Lewis in Phoenix. Charter schools are taking over here.

    1. In southern California we need a Karen Lewis and 310,000 hickory wood bats.

Does anyone know a state level union administrator who is not a lying fool

  3. Karen Lewis is great, I wish she could have a one-on-one with Obama and educate him about the toxicity of RTTT, charter schools and school privatization. She's got grit, guts and intelligence and is not afraid to tell the truth about school deform. The NEA and AFT could learn a lot about Karen Lewis's no nonsense approach.

I think it's time to replace Dennis Van Roekel and Randi Weingarten! Time to start the fight with research on our side.

...as well as Duncan and Mulgrew. This is the most accurate and moving speech I have heard an educator speak in recent times.
