Charter School CEO, Joel Pourier, Pleads Guilty to Stealing $1.4 Million

No oversight, no problem.  

Another orange jumpsuit is reserved for the former Executive Director and Head Thief of Heart of the Earth Charter School:

MINNEAPOLIS--Heart of the Earth charter school had little chance of survival last year after authorities learned 1.4 million dollars of its money had been siphoned off from its accounts.
Today, the former executive director of that school, Joel Pourier pled guilty to eight counts of theft by swindle in the case.
Pourier admitted to stealing more than a million dollars from Heart of the Earth school.
The charter school closed last year after this incident.
Pourier will be sentenced August 30th in Hennepin County.
