Ravitch and Cody Host Another Talkfest As Wall Street Charter Organizers Put Thousands in the Streets

In the wake of the hedge funders' loud pro-charter demonstration last week in New York, the unending talkathon that is the Network for Public Education will host another, what else, information session in Brooklyn on October 11.  Will Randi be Ravitch's surprise guest to whip up the crowd for Common Core?

Does anyone believe that the education genocide will end without non-violent resistance and civil disobedience?  If you do, I suggest you send Anthony Cody a check to put your beliefs into non-action.

My district is well on the way to charterization. I have lost hope that urban public schools will be liberated from the anti democratic reform movement. I am heart broken to watch all that I cherish go up in smoke. There is no respect for intellect or self expression.
