Trump's Two Big Lies in Press Release Yesterday

  1. Trump said that the Intelligence Report showed the Russian interference had no effect on the election results.  The Report, in fact, did not ask that question in its investigations, nor did the assessments by the three agencies attempt to answer whether or not the Russian interference affected the presidential election outcome.
  2. Trump said that Republican computers were not hacked by Russians when, in fact, the Report clearly indicates they were--but the Russians did not share any juicy details about what the RNC was doing.  Why?  Because, as the Report demonstrates, Putin wanted Trump to win.
Maddow has the story (from last evening's broadcast).  If you don't think this a big deal, have a look and think again.
