Mark Naison co-founder of the 30,000 + strong BATs, brave teachers taking a stand against educational reform, raised his voice against practices threatens teaching and learning in this state and the institution of public education. He spoke in unison with Parents Against Common Core as he took a position against our out of touch Regents leadership. He spoke for millions of others, parents and teachers, who fear speaking out or are too burdened to raise their voice. I applaud and thank those who face the crushing burdens in education with their mouths open in protest and their fists held high.
